Twinsie Tuesday: Favorite Discontinued Polish

Hey y'all! Another Tuesday is upon us and that means I have this week's Twinsie Tuesday theme! We are all sharing our favorite discontinued polishes for today's post. I know, it's kind of unfair to be showing gorgeous polish that you can't really get anymore, but please try not to be too mad, okay?!

If you are an Indie fan, like myself, you know that more often than not, indies will eventually be discontinued. And while I have several really great polishes that are no longer produced, the indies always stand out. For my post, I picked a recent score from Pahlish - a special edition Bespoke Batch that was released in February for Friday the 13th called "Boo Give Love."

2015 Spring and Summer Color Trends from Pantone

Hey guys and gals! Spring has officially sprung and with the change in season, we get gorgeous new colors of polish to play with. As with every seasonal collection, the main stream polish brands (China Glaze, Essie, O.P.I. and Zoya) look to the Pantone Color Report for their inspiration.

In the last Color Trend post, I previewed the 2015 Color Of The Year - Marsala. Pantone has continued with that vintage vibe and compiled a lovely, ethereal mix of colors and hues with a very retro flare.

Foil Tattoo NOTD

Hey y'all! So I am sure most of you know what foil tattoos are and how insanely cool they look. I have seen a few pics around using them as nail decals and omg, why a perfect idea! I am a total magpie and am instantly drawn to anything shiny or sparkly (ahem..nail polish!) and knew I needed some foil tats asap. I didn't want to spend a lot on my first go, (the original Austin-based company, Flash Tats sells a package for $20-$30) so I found a very cheap sheet of foil tattoos with a few designs that I could easily translate into nail decals.

Twinsie Tuesday: Pinterest Inspiration

Hi everyone! I am finally back to posting with the Twinsies after a two-week mini hiatus. This week, the Twinsies are looking to Pintrest for our weekly inspiration. I don't know about you, but I loooooove Pintrest for just about everything - cooking, crochet/knitting project, make up and nail art. It's awesome. It took me no time to find an inspiration pic, this one from the awesome Marta of Chit Chat Nails.

Ethereal Gradient NOTD

Hey y'all! So I actually did some nail art that isn't related to my TT posts! Not to say that I don't being a part of the Twinsies, but it has been a long time since I have felt inspired to do much nail art outside of our weekly prompts. But I seem to have come out of my slump! Hopefully this creative energy will stick around a while!

Zoya New Year New Hue Promo Haul

Hi friends. Oh man I am so behind in posting these, lol! At least twice a year, Zoya ( a.k.a. the best mainstream polish ever) has a three-free promo where you pick three polishes and just pay shipping. It is a super sweet deal and I almost always take advantage! For new year's Zoya offered the three-free promo again, which include a free mini trio as well (swatches of those to come). I took the opportunity to complete the Ignite collection and score the three I was missing - Autumn, India and Remy.

Please Note: Products shown were purchased by me for my personal use.

Twinsie Tuesday: Endometriosis Awarness

Hey y'all, happy Tuesday afternoon! Apologies for the later-than-usual post today. This past weekend was definitely an exercise in patience as I helped my small person finish up a major project for school while being stuck inside due to bad weather, all with a big dose of hormones. Whee! Fun times...right?! Needless to say, I am feeling very stabbey today, lol!

March is Endometriosis Awarness month and the Twinsie Tuesday girls are wearing yellow to bring awareness to this debilitating disease. Endometriosis is a hormonal and immune system disease in which cell grows outside the uterine cavity, causing extreme pain and infertility. This female reproductive disease affects approximately 1 in 10 women worldwide. While I personally don't suffer from Endo (I have a whole other set of lady part problems) I know a good deal of fabulous ladies who do suffer. Knowing your body and your cycle is key to identifying any problems. So pay attention, ladies! You're bodies are amazing beautiful things, take good care of them! Now on to the nails...
